| 28 April 1894 The crime was briefly reported in the Staffordshire Advertiser Saturday 28 April 1894 p.6 col.6: AN INCORRIGIBLE LAD. - Harry Johnson, aged 12, Edensor-road, was charged with stealing a quantity of sweets, value 1s., the property of Charles Jupps, confectioner, Stafford-street. There were three previous convictions against the defendant, who was ordered to be sent to a reformatory school until he was 16 years of age. | |
