Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)

The war diary tends not to list casualties by number or name but states that the battalion was in positions at "Hunterstown" near St Yves in Ypres. The day George is listed as being killed is described as being quiet with a little shelling and a few rifle grenades being fired at them from the German lines. George must have been killed by either shelling or a rifle grenade.
