Howard served as a home based Volunteer with the 2nd Knowle and Dorridge Battalion, Warwickshire Volunteers. He did not serve abroad, being too old to do so. Howard died of Appendicitis & Peritonitis at the Birmingham General Hospital on November 8th 1918. |
