Circumstances of Death

Harry is listed as being killed in action on 10 Sep 1917 and a report in the Stratford upon Avon Herald on 21 Sep 1917 that he was killed instantaneously by a shell as he was carrying ammunition to the trenches, both of this horses suffered the same fate. Unfortunately the Brigade war diary does not contain entries from 9th or 10th Sept 1917 so we can transcribe it, we do know that the Brigade was on Ypres Salient on both of those days.
