Usna-Tara Line - 13 Jul 1916: Moved to Usna-Tara line.

Usna-Tara Line - 14 Jul 1916: No diary entry made.

S of Contalmaison - 15 Jul 1916: Attack on Pozieres by 112th Brigade from trenches S of Contalmaison. Battalion held up by hostile machine guns. Established itself about 100x from the lisière [edge or boundary] and dug in.

Casualties: Killed 3 Officers & 32 OR’s; Missing 25 OR’s; Wounded 9 Officers & 174 OR’s.

S of Contalmaison - 16 Jul 1916: Battalion moved to Albert.
