Circumstances of Death
|
Arthur is listed as dying of wounds on 3rd August 1916 at either the No 5 or No 21 Casualty Clearing Station in La Neuville which used Corbie Communal Cemetery for their burials. Unfortunately neither the 15th Trench Mortar Battery or 16th Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment war diaries give us any clues as to when, and under what circumstances, Arthur was wounded. |
