Circumstances of Death

George is listed as having died of wounds on 15th September 1916 and he was subsequently buried at Bailleul which at the time was used for burials by the 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 11th, 53rd, 1st Canadian and 1st Australian Casualty Clearing Stations.  

The 10th Battalion war diary does not give any indications as to when, where or how George was wounded and so we have not transcribed any entries.
