Circumstances of Death

Christopher is listed as being killed whilst a Prisoner of War on 15th April 1918. We do not know when or where Christopher was taken prisoner and War Diairies for the Salonika campaign are not available online. However Christopher's Pension card states "about 15 Apr 1918 P.O.W. shot by Bulgars trying to escape".

We could not find Christopher in Red Cross Prisoner of War Records.
