Circumstances of Death

Horoce died of general paralysis of the insane at the Hatton Lunatic Asylum, Warwickshire on 17 January 1917. He was initially buried in a private grave which is inscribed "passed away as a result of shell shock received while serving in France. In 2008 it was accepted by the CWGC that he died as a result of active service and they gave him an official war grave. |
