The first Production FB.5

On 28 Sep 1916 Frederick was flying Vickers FB.5 Gunbus number 7511 from the School of Aerial Gunnery over Hythe when it lost speed in a turn, nose dived and crashed. Also killed with him was A Mech 1 Harry Clancy, RFC aged 21.
