Bravery Medal Awards
- 14 Sep 1916 - Awarded the Military Medal for repairing broken telephone lines under shell fire at Armentieres in January 1916 (Gazette)
- 07 Jun 1917 - Awarded a Bar to his Military Medal for remaining under fire laying and maintaining wires during the Attack on Hill 60 (Gazette)
