Circumstances of Death
| William is listed as dying of wounds on 20th October 1916 and he was buried in Grove Town Cemetery which at that time was used by 34th and 2/2nd London Casualty Clearing Stations to bury their dead. We have not been able to confirm on which day William was wounded.
