Circumstances of Death

George was discharged from the Army on 22nd September 1919 and it is noted that he suffered from a gun shot wound to the arm at that time, because of that wound he was given a Silver Badge # B180087

However George died on 3rd September 1921 of Pneumothorax and Chronic Phthisis (TB) at his home 16 Queen Street, Leamington Spa and therefore his death was not caused by his wounds and so he was not given an official war grave.
