Arras - 17 May 1916: The Battn takes over K2 front line from 1/R.W. Kents. Weather conditions perfect, warm sunshine, dry trenches Arras - 18 May 1916: 1 man – No 1070 Pte H J Norton killed & 1 other rank wounded by aerial. Arras - 19 May 1916: No diary entry made on this day Arras - 20 May 1916: Perfect weather conditions continue but moon all night a little too bright for work in front of line. A patrol under Sgt Turner reconnoitred enemy’s wire in front of Trench 125. |
