Circumstances of Death

Mary died of Meningitis at the Queen Mary's Auxiliary Hospital in Isleworth, Middx on 22nd February 1919. Mary contracted the disease in France and she was evacuated to the UK on 14th February 1919.

Mary served in the Boulogne area from 12 Apr 1918 to 14 Feb 1919 and was awarded the British War & Victory Medals.
