Circumstances of Death

Tom died of Pleurisy and Pneumonia aboard HMT Huntsgreen on 19th October 1915 and was buried at sea. Tom had previously been seriously wounded by a gun shot wound to the back & chest in France in June 1915 before recovering and on 15th October 1915 left Gospost headed to Gallipoli to join up with 17th Siege Battery |
