Circumstances of Death
| Robert died of wounds in one of the 5 military hospitals based in Le Treport. We have not been able to establish on which day Robert was wounded. In the 8 days prior to his death the battalion were in constantly in action and were forced to withdraw a number of times under the German advance. |
