Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)
The war diary places the 15th Hussars at Labeuvriere and mentions that one other rank was killed with the PN (Pioneer) Battalion. It is assumed that this was Frederick who died of his wounds at No 3 Canadian Field Ambulance, Neuville-St. Vaast.
