Circumstances of Death

William is listed as dying of wounds on 12th November 1917 at one of the following Military Hospitals at Le Treport which used Mont Huon cemetery, 3rd, 16th & 2nd Canadian General Hospital's & Lady Murray's B.R.C.S. Hospital.

The 10th Battalion war diary does not list any casualties by name nor does it record any casualties being incurred between the 27th October and 12th November 1917 and the first mention (going backwards from the 12th) of casualties is 3 men recorded as wounded on 26th October in a Camp near Kemel with no further detail given as to how they were wounded.
