Circumstances Leading to Death (Normally from War Diary)
Percy was killed in action whilst on a working party on Westhoek Ridge. The war diary entry for the day [12 Ferb 1918] states "Working parties provided for foward area [Westhoek Ridge] & specialist training conducted in camp [Devonshire Camp east of Busseboom] The following casualties on the working party killed 3 OR wounded 4 OR".
