Circumstances of Death

Edmund is listed as dying of wounds on 9 Oct 1917. We have not been able to identify when he was wounded, the 15th Battalion war diary shows that the Battalion moved to the front lines at Bedford House was in the front lines at Stirling Castle near Hooge from the 2nd October and men were wounded everyday up until the day Edmund died, therefore we have not reproduced the war diary here.
