Stratford Herald ArticleStratford on Avon Herald - Friday October 22, 1915 Much sympathy is felt with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Baulcombe, of Bentley Heath, and the family in the sad intelligence they have just received stating that their eldest son, Frank Baulcombe, aged twenty-four was killed in action in France about a fortnight ago. Shortly following the outbreak of the war the deceased joined Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry and he was greatly by all his comrades. Before joining his Majesty’s forces Private Baulcombe was employed at Umberslade as a gardener and was well known in the district as a chorister as well as in other useful directions. The family enjoy a splendid record of patriotic service. |
